Ever wondered what’s inside the Upland Police Department?
This Saturday, local families are invited to step inside, meet officers, and see some of their work up close.
Most of us have driven past the Upland Police Department, but how often do we get to see what’s happening inside? On Saturday, September 26, the department is opening its doors to families for an afternoon of tours, demonstrations, and kids’ activities.
What can families see?
Take a tour of the station, meet local officers, and check out traffic and drone demonstrations. There will also be SWAT displays and activities for kids.
If your child loves asking questions or gets excited whenever a police vehicle goes by, this could be a fun outing to add to your weekend. It’s a chance to explore a familiar place from a whole new angle.

Make it a family conversation: Ask your kids what they’re most curious about before you go. A station tour or demonstration might answer a question they’ve had for ages!
