🎃 Free Halloween fun is coming to Claremont! Bring the kids, bring the dog and give everyone an excuse to wear those costumes before Halloween night.
If the kids are already counting down to Halloween, the City of Claremont has an easy local outing to add to the calendar. The Halloween Spooktacular is coming to Lewis Park on Saturday, October 17, with games, entertainment, costume contests and food trucks.
The community event runs from 3 to 6 p.m. and admission is FREE. Families can enjoy the games, entertainment and costume contests at no cost. Food and drinks from the food trucks will be available for purchase, so you may want to come hungry or plan for an early dinner at the park.
🐶 Costumes Are Not Only for the Kids
One of the cutest parts of this event may be the Howl-O-Ween Dog Costume Contest. Dress up your pup and have them ready to show off their Halloween look at 5:30 p.m.
The children’s costume contest also begins at 5:30 p.m., so make sure the kids arrive in their Halloween best if they would like to participate. Whether they want to be spooky, silly, sparkly or something completely unexpected, this is a fun chance to wear that costume before Halloween night.
