Guide to La Verne's 4th of July Celebration 2026

La Verne has a full day of Fourth of July events planned again this year. Whether you're heading over for breakfast, the parade, or the fireworks, here's what you'll want to know before you go.

šŸ„ž Pancake Breakfast

One of the first events of the day is the annual Boy Scout Troop 411 Pancake Breakfast at the United Methodist Church. Breakfast is served from 6:30 to 10:30 am, so it's an easy stop before finding a spot for the parade.

Where: United Methodist Church, 3205 D Street

šŸŽˆ 4th of July Parade

The parade starts at 10:00 am at D Street and Tenth Street, just south of Bonita High School.

This year's theme is "Celebrating 250 Years of Independence, La Verne's Way," recognizing America's 250th birthday. You'll see local schools, community groups, businesses, and plenty of creative entries making their way through town.

Here's a fun bit of local history: this year's Grand Marshal isn't a person at all. It's La Verne's Liberty Bell replica, selected in honor of America's 250th birthday. If you've driven by City Hall, you've probably seen it without realizing it has such a unique story.

If you're planning to watch, keep in mind that chairs and blankets can only be placed along the parade route beginning 24 hours before the event.

šŸŽ† Evening Fireworks

Later in the day, the celebration moves over to Bonita High School for live music and fireworks.

Gates open at 6:00 pm, and The Silverados will be performing before the fireworks begin later that evening.

Tickets are $20 for ages 5 and up, and children 4 and under get in free. If you buy your tickets before June 25, you'll save $5 per ticket.

Because the event takes place on the football field, there are a few restrictions on what you can bring inside. It's worth checking the event details before you head over.

A Few Tips

If you're planning to stay all day, the pancake breakfast, parade, and evening fireworks make it easy to turn this into a full day of celebrating without leaving town.

Bring chairs for the parade, buy your fireworks tickets ahead of time if you can, and don't forget water, sunscreen, and a little patience. It's one of La Verne's busiest days of the year, but that's part of what makes it so much fun.

Have a safe and happy Fourth of July! ā¤ļøšŸ¤šŸ’™
