Calling all young Padawans, Jedi Masters, droids, and Star Wars fans, the Upland Public Library is bringing back its annual Star Wars Day celebration, an afternoon families will not want to miss.
The library’s fourth annual Star Wars Day event is happening on Saturday, May 23 at 1 PM, transforming the library into a galaxy filled with favorite characters, themed activities, and hands-on fun for kids.
Families can expect:
⭐ Star Wars characters and vehicles
⭐ Star Wars-themed storytimes
⭐ Crafts and activities
⭐ A reptile exhibit inspired by Star Wars creatures
One of the coolest parts of the event is the reptile exhibit from The Reptile Center and Ontario Pet & Supplies, featuring real animals that inspired some of the creatures seen throughout the Star Wars universe. Kids who love animals, creatures, and science will probably spend plenty of time checking this out.
And of course, half the fun is showing up dressed for the occasion. Expect to see lightsabers, robes, droids, and tiny Grogu fans wandering around the library.
What is great about this event is that it mixes imagination, books, creativity, and family fun all in one place, and it has become a favorite tradition for many local families over the last few years.
Whether your kids are longtime Star Wars fans or simply excited for crafts and character sightings, this looks like a fun way to spend a Saturday afternoon together.
