Venom Exhibit & Education at Cucamonga-Guasti Regional Park

A family-friendly wildlife lesson led by a local expert

Got a kid who loves snakes, scorpions, or asking questions that start with “Is it poisonous?” This free event at Cucamonga-Guasti Regional Park is a fun way to lean into that curiosity.

Families can check out live venom exhibits and learn how venom actually works, why animals have it, and how people can stay safe around wildlife. The program is led by Dan the Wild Man and is designed to be educational, engaging, and approachable for all ages.

What makes this experience especially nice is that it focuses on learning rather than fear. Kids get the chance to see these animals up close, ask questions, and better understand how they fit into the natural world. It’s the kind of hands-on learning that sticks, long after the afternoon is over.

It’s a great option for kids who enjoy animals, science, or hands-on learning, and a nice change of pace if you’re looking for something different to do on a Saturday afternoon
