One of Southern California’s most beloved holiday traditions is back! L.A. Zoo Lights: Animals Aglow returns November 13, 2025 through January 11, 2026, transforming the Los Angeles Zoo into a glowing wonderland of lights, color, and wildlife magic.
Families can stroll through stunning themed displays featuring larger-than-life lantern sculptures, including dazzling birds, butterflies, flowers, and animals from across the globe. This year’s experience brings guests through the world of plants and pollinators, the wildlife of Southeast Asia, and an illuminated African landscape, all designed to spark curiosity and wonder.
You’ll also find returning favorites like:
- A giant walk-in kaleidoscope
- Interactive light displays
- Visits with Santa Claus
- Seasonal treats, including churros, s’mores, and hot cocoa
- Beer, wine, and spiked cocoa for adults (available nightly)
Special community nights include:
Sensory-Inclusive Zoo Lights (Dec. 9) – A serene evening designed with sensory accommodations, including quieter music, smaller crowds, and sensory bags.
Pride Night (Jan. 8) – A celebration for the LGBTQIA+ community with a family-friendly DJ dance party and festive atmosphere.
Tickets are on sale now at www.lazoolights.org
General admission starts at $19 for kids (ages 2–12) and $29 for adults (13+). L.A. Zoo members receive $5 off.
