Just in time for summer break, Regal is bringing back its popular Summer Movie Express program! Starting Monday, June 1, families can cool off at the movies and enjoy a family-friendly film for just $1 per ticket.
Each week from June 1 through August 13, participating Regal theaters will show select family movies at 11:00 a.m., Monday through Thursday. It’s a fun and affordable way to get out of the house, beat the heat, and enjoy some favorite movies on the big screen.
This year’s lineup includes family favorites like Kung Fu Panda 4, The Wild Robot, The Garfield Movie, Sonic the Hedgehog 3, Dog Man, Paddington in Peru, Despicable Me 4, The Sandlot, and more.
Regal is also offering a snack deal for Summer Movie Express guests. All attendees can receive $3 off a cup of Dippin’ Dots ice cream and a Snack Pack, which includes a junior-sized drink, popcorn, and fruit gummies.

Not all Regal theaters participate in the Summer Movie Express program, and movie selections or showtimes may vary by location, so be sure to check the Regal website before you go. Tickets are available online and at the box office, but since summer activities can fill up quickly, I recommend reserving your seats online in advance.
Below are the local Regal theaters near our area participating this summer:
Regal Edwards La Verne 1950 East Foothill Blvd, La Verne
Regal Edwards Ontario Mountain Village 1575 North Mountain Avenue, Ontario
Regal Edwards West Covina 1200 Lakes Drive, West Covina
Regal Edwards Eastvale Gateway 12285 Limonite, Eastvale
Showtimes at all theaters are 11:00 am.

Mom tips for making the most of your summer movie experience
- Take along some friends - a movie is ALWAYS better with friends and with just $1 per ticket you don't have to worry about the cost.
- Join Regal Crown Club (It's Free!) and get 50% off popcorn every Tuesday! Perfect for these summer trips!
- Book online to guarantee your seat & arrive early to get a good seat.
- Don't expect a quiet movie experience. Many parents bring small children, which can be a great way to try out a theater visit with littles.
- Bring jackets/sweatshirts - it might be 100+ outside, but it gets cold in the movie theater.
Enjoy your movie!
